February is here, in all of its 29-day splendor. Not only is it a leap month, and the month of love, but February is the month for all things football! Super Bowl Sunday is NOW and it is time to get those plans finalized for the big game. Have you decorated? Do you have enough chairs? What food is on the menu, and what kind of drinks can you serve to guests so they’re not leaving your place and headed straight into a car breathalyzer or other DWI penalty?
Super Bowl Sunday does not have to mean “no fun zone” when you are a responsible host. Here’s some ways to get your game on, without risking the safety of others on the road:
- Non-alcoholic Football League. This “NFL” is by far your safest bet, with the highest odds of arriving home safely.
- Max Out the Drinks (Per Person). You’ll seem pretty fancy when you hand your guests their drink tickets and encourage their responsible sides.
- Designated Driver for Dollars. Your “DDD” is a pre-hired designated driver for your party. Let them enjoy the fun, too, and be there when people need a ride to and from your party.
- Crash at the Crib. Make the Super Bowl a sleepover at your place and allow your guests to enjoy the party to the fullest!
We know its fun to soak up the Super Bowl sensations, and that includes a round or two of drinks with friends. Whether you’re cheering for the Broncos or the Panthers, toasting wins or just playing the prop bets game your guests could land in a zone nobody can defend: too drunk to drive. Being a responsible Super Bowl party host means that you get to set the rules for your home game, and throw a flag on any risky plays. By keeping your party safe, you are ensuring that this year’s game will be the beginning of a new Super Bowl tradition in your home – one filled with the fun and friendship that only February can offer.
